Career Evolutions is searching for a Content Strategist for a fast-growing B2B marketing company headquartered in Phoenix, AZ. Full-time position with compensation up to $75,000 + Bonus.

Job Title: Content Strategist

Job Summary: You are a passionate, experienced and customer-centric content marketing expert with exceptional storytelling and editorial skills to define content strategy and vision. You will work closely with leaders within the organization, support B2B and B2C clients, and manage all aspects of content strategy, create and manage the creation of original content across multiple platforms and formats.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Own, develop, and manage content strategy for B2B and B2C clients
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style and quality, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, print and in-person
  • Map out content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives, both short- and long-term for clients, and determine which methods work for the brand and why
  • Conduct ongoing usability tests to measure content effectiveness, gather data, handle analytics, and make recommendations based on results
  • Develop standards, systems and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing, including the real-time implementation of content strategies
  • Establish work flow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in English/Journalism/Public Relations/Communications/Marketing, MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of content strategy experience in a B2B/B2C environment
  • Agency background and client facing experience is a must
  • Excellent storyteller, with outstanding writing, visual and verbal communication skills
  • Mastery of marketing fundamentals, including segmentation, positioning and market analysis
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current and future marketing trends across all platforms
  • Open minded, enthusiastic, and not afraid to express creativity and new ideas
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
