Due to our exceptional growth and success, we are recruiting for a Clerk to join our team in St. Louis, MO! 


SUMMARY 
Under general supervision, performs administrative duties for the branch. Duties may include but are not limited to, scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, tracking patient lab results, faxing, filing, documentation, prescriber license verification, and generally assisting all departments as needed.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. 
1. Receives and directs incoming calls, faxes and other communication to appropriate staff.
2. Verifies prescriber licensure and identification (payer) and entry into the computer system per policy.
3. Tracks and retrieves documentation (prescriptions, delivery tickets, intake documents, DWO’s, etc.) requiring patient or prescriber completion and/or signature, distributes to appropriate staff, enters into computer system as instructed.
4. Provides various management support functions: faxing, copying, mailing, creating and maintaining reports, processing invoices, assisting with inventory and documentation.
5. Generates various reports from computer system as directed.
6. Completes all necessary paperwork, forms, and records according to policy.
7. Files documentation correctly and promptly.
8. Complies with Company policies and procedures.
9. Each employee is responsible for adhering to those performance programs, policies, procedures, guidelines and internal control standards established to guide the operation of the Company. Each employee must be made aware of and understand proper internal control procedures associated with their specific job function as communicated by his/her manager.
10. Each employee is responsible for reporting concerns that he or she may have with respect to deficiencies in internal control.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 
High school diploma; one (1) year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified preferred.
