SUMMARY
Our client is capitalizing on a market opportunity and need a strong Lead Software Developer to join the team and direct this effort as a Partner in this established start-up. You will work closely with the members of the Executive team to drive all internal and external technical initiatives. You will be part of building a new result driven, business intelligence solution for the customers, and as the leader you’ll build quickly and smart to deliver the project on time. You have excellent problem solving and communication skills and you are comfortable with fast paced design, development and deployment in an agile environment. You have hand-on experience working extensively on data integration projects, and you’ll use your technical expertise and innovation skills to help our client solve the complex challenges of building high performance, decision support systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and architect elegant scalable real-time applications to help meet business requirements
Code solutions using appropriate languages while helping to drive the improvement of internal coding standards and best practices
Working on fast iteration cycles and tight deadlines using an agile/scrum methodology
Study system flow, data usage and user workflows to develop solutions for both internal and external customers
Ensure the robustness, performance and failure characteristics of the system
Interface with cross functional business units to collect business and end-user requirements
Author design specifications for new software solutions to drive internal development team
Help design and drive continuous improvements within the software development life cycle
Help to enforce technical architecture and documentation standards, policies and quality assurance procedures
Establish and drive testing and quality assurance procedures for new products through development to go-live
Provide support for project management tasks including planning, reporting and adherence
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
5+ years of C# and ASP.NET programming and comfortable with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript libraries
Experience with .Net Frameworks 3.5 / 4.0, JSON and Ajax, and ability to write complex SQL queries
Experience in data integration applications, N-tier design and programming, and trong understanding of SDLC
Experience in cross platform application development and integration and interface design
Experience with SSRS, SSIS and SSAS and other BI tools and with Agile Development methodology and TDD is a plus
Exceptional problem solving & debugging skills, analytical and documentation skills
