Career Evolutions is searching for an ERP Implementation Manager for a fast-growing global manufacturing company based in Scottsdale, AZ. Full-time position with compensation up to $120,000.
Job Title: ERP Implementation Manager
Job Summary: Reporting to the VP of Finance you’ll be responsible for successful planning, coordinating and execution accounting projects including IFS software implementation within established timeframes and budgets. You will lead the planning and implementation of IFS software across Accounting, A/P and A/R, facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables, manage project plans, budget and resource allocation and monitor project costs, as well as plan and schedule project timelines, set milestone dates and meet the target dates from start to completion.
You will interact with all levels within the organization as needed to get tasks done and to drive projects to completion, monitor progress and report on progress to VP of Finance and Executive Team. You serve as an IFS subject matter expert and conducts formal and informal training for software applications. You and you will manage conversion of data from JD Edwards, critically review and analyze current accounting policies, procedures, workflow, assignments and accounting cycles, and propose clearly defined and effective procedures and recommendations and an implementation plan that will lead to a best-practice operation.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance, PMP certification a plus
5+ years of hands-on experience in a lead financial role including project management of ERP systems conversion and implementation in the manufacturing industry
Proven ability to successfully project manage multiple ERP deployments an/or the accounting functionality within multiple ERP deployments
IFS/JDE/SAP project management experience and knowledge of general accounting, A/P, A/R
Strong track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and with high quality
Advanced Access and Excel skills (V-lookup, Pivot tables, Macros)
Ability to multi-task, work on multiple projects at the same time, and effective and efficient process improvement skills
Strong analytical, trouble-shooting/problem-solving and organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Able to work independently and as part of a team and excellent verbal and written communication skills
