Description Position: Cable Installer- Level 2
Level (I) / Cable Installer – 2 Year of Experience
Familiar with Cat3, Cat5, 5e, Cat6, RG59, and other twisted pair type cables for Voice / Data / Video and Security installations. Knowledgeable of the difference between PVC and Plenum type cables including installing cables according to EIA/TIA standards taking into consideration Pathways (conduits / “J” hooks), bending radius and firewall ratings.
Will have basic tools as described further by client.Requirements- Must have a Valid Driver’s License (MVR Checks will be run)
- Pass a National Background Check that goes back 20 years
- Pass a Drug Test
- Ability to work extended hours (overtime) as needed
- Ability to be regularly scheduled for on-call status if needed
- Position requires daily travel to worksites
- Must be able to work safely following company policy/procedures on safety including properly utilizing required safety equipment
- Employee must be able to safely lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
- Positions normally require inside work however employee may be exposed to outside weather elements
