The IT Finance Team of our Client is seeking a candidate for the position of PROGRAMMER ANALYST IT.
Department Description:
The team is composed of Oracle DBAs and both IT and Business Analysts working at mapping out current environment, processes while concurrently migrating it from Postgre to Oracle technologies.Brief Description:
Work with Oracle*s world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle*s global infrastructure.
Detailed Description:
As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.
Additional Details:
Work directly with product development teams to design and build scalable, highly available, and high performing SaaS and PaaS infrastructures. Manage Databases, and Java applications infrastructure. Develop scripts to monitor and automate various processes, infrastructure, and technologies. Define and document system architectures, systems configurations, and technical operational processes and policies. Troubleshoot and document issues with applications, technologies, and infrastructure. Ensure service reliability and high availability.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
- Optional Skills

Middleware / WebLogic administration experience
Oracle DBA experience, including RAC, is extremely beneficial.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
At least 5 years of experience with the administration of Linux, Oracle Databases, Web Logic Server, and Oracle eBusiness Suite of Applications.
Experience with enterprise monitoring and management tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager.
Expert level of automation skills using one or more computer languages such as Python, Perl, Shell, Java.
Experience with virtualization technologies will be advantageous.
Experience with tools such as Puppet and Pingdom will be advantageous.
Ability to think creatively and work independently.
Experience with the operations management of large-scale SaaS and PaaS services is highly desired.
