Albelissa Engineering is looking for a SENIOR RF/MICROWAVE TEST ENGINEER on behalf of our Fortune Global 500 multi-national client.
Role:
This skilled engineer will provide a key function for the Product Approval and Lab Operation (PA&LO) team through definitive RF/Microwave design expertise. Additionally, this detail-oriented engineer will represent the PA&LO team in product development meetings, preparing and scheduling test programs, and syncing cross-team to meet all compliance deliverables required for a product launch of microwave ovens, using magnetrons for MW generation, for cooking food in domestic environment.
This person will work closely with other development engineers (RF/MW engineers, Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Software and Hardware Engineers) to ensure that our products meet technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility is to develop, maintain and improve RF/Microwave testing for engineering characterization and development test validation.
- Develop test procedures based on project specifications and set-up specific equipments according the test purpose.
- Assume complete engineering ownership of RF/Microwave test systems.
- Streamline data gathering and analysis, storage and access to minimize effort required to generate required reports.
- Work with project engineering staff on test strategies that minimize final test maintaining product integrity to specifications.
- Support product development and production testing with the generation of optimal hardware interface solutions.
- Support production quality engineers is fault analysis and trouble shooting in production.
- Required Skills

Minimum Bachelor in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
Solid experience (>5 years) in microwaves components testing and characterization as well as application of such components, system-approach, in the product. Knowledge of magnetrons is wanted, but not needed.
Proven ability in setting up and qualifying RF/Microwave test benches (>10GHz frequencies).
Knowledge in realization of MW-systems with mechanical design, including production variation, is wanted
Programming skills: Advanced practice of Labview environment
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously with excellent reporting and communication capability
Must have a “do whatever it takes” attitude to get the job done and a No-questions-asked
“customer is number one priority” business style
Excellent mastering of both spoken and written English.
Six-sigma Black Belt certification is considered a plus.
