Career Evolutions is searching for a General Manager for a fast-growing manufacturing company headquartered in Phoenix, AZ. Full-time position with compensation up to $200,000 + Benefits.

Job Title: General Manager

Job Summary: You’ll be responsible for providing general management leadership including full P&L responsibility of the entire organization. You’ll oversee plant operations, including production, forecasting, budgeting, materials, quality assurance/control, and engineering. You will lead the development and execution of annual operating plans and budgets, and ensure effectiveness, legality, and profitability of all agreements. You will interact with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and other departmental staff members, make recommendations and institute improvements in productivity, quality, safety and efficiency of operations, and establish priorities and assign resources.

You will be responsible for application of lean concepts, practices, and procedures in aerospace manufacturing, and ensuring operational and employee compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures. You’ll coordinate resources with other company leaders and staff, to deliver successful results, work with leadership on career planning and growth and manage ongoing performance feedback and year-end evaluations, establish an effective organization structure to improve team working relationships, and collaborate with other divisions to share best practices and standardization.

Qualifications/Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of General Management experience required
  • Experience working in the aerospace and/or the manufacturing industry
  • Experience successfully utilizing Lean, 6 Sigma, or other leading manufacturing best practices
  • Ability to successfully manage P&L performance to aggressive top and bottom line objectives-forecasting, budgeting, and managing a P&L
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems and expert knowledge of  Raw Material, WIP and Finish goods
  • Previous experience with hydroforming a plus
  • Excellent business operational leadership skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
