Career Evolutions is searching for a Staff Accountant for a fast-growing international manufacturing company headquartered in Phoenix, AZ. Full-time position with compensation up to $55,000 + Bonus.
Job Title: Staff Accountant
Job Description: You will be a valuable member of the Accounting team, reporting to the Operations Manager and to world headquarter in Europe. You will be responsible for supporting the month-end close process by performing various general accounting and reporting responsibilities. You will participate with the coordination and monitoring of the account reconciliation process, perform month-end close activities, including preparation of monthly and quarterly journal entries, review journal entries and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness, respond to external auditor requests, and assist with quarter-end and year-end audit schedules. You will gather, analyze, interpret, prepare and reconcile complex financial information to support the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in the manufacturing industry
Strong understanding of cash based accounting
Strong understanding and application of US GAAP and IFRS standards
