JOB SUMMARY
Act as the facilitator for the Credentailing and Delegation process and be responsible for timely processing of all credentialing requests.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Process credentialing applications for potential network providers.
  • Ensure Credentialing and Licensing processes are completed timely.
  • Identify who may need updating or re-credentialing and process accordingly.
  • Request expired credentials and maintain network providers up to date with credentialing documents.
  • Communicate credential requests, status, and any issues to the Corporate Compliance Director.
  • Participate in the preparation and organization of delegation audits.
  • Review finished materials for completeness, accuracy, format, compliance with policies and procedures, and appropriate grammar.
  • Organize credentialing meetings and prepare required informational material.
  • Maintain a calendar of activities, meetings, and various events for credentialing activities and audits
  • Research, compile, analyze, and summarize a variety of informational materials; assist in the design and production of technical information.
  • Prepare and proofread a wide variety of report, letters, memoranda, and statistical charts; independently compose correspondence, letters, resolutions, and reports as assigned.
  • Recommend improvements in workflow, procedures, and use of equipment and forms.
  • Provide responsible and highly complex administrative support.
  • Possess an intermediate Excel knowledge base.
 
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • 2 years' experience in healthcare Network Credentialing
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to uphold the principles of compliance as outlined by the company
