Career Evolutions is searching for a QA Software Tester for a fast-growing software company in Phoenix, AZ. Full-Time, direct hire opportunity with compensation up to $65K + Benefits.

You will work collaboratively with internal technical staff and management staff to ensure the delivery of quality software products, services, and documentation to our customers. You will assist in developing specifications, identifying software product issues, creating test data and test cases, and driving defect resolution. You will serves as liaison between customers and staff by fielding help desk inquiries on software functionality and potential issues/defects. You will respond to customer questions and issues regarding software products and services. You will perform quality assurance checks including testing and validating software developed, as well as document, report, and manage the resolution of bugs. You will also draft, update, and edit technical documents including user manuals, business requirements, technical specifications, test plans and test cases, and training materials.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of testing experience and technical writing experience
Hands-on experience in creating test plans, cases, data, scripts and performing regression and integration testing, working together with the developer team to ensure quality of new applications
Experience writing technical documents, including specifications and manuals
Proficient in MS office applications including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with SharePoint and SQL is a plus
Excellent organizational, analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and in a team
Excellent communication, professional, and interpersonal skills
