Job Title: ASG Senior Residential Review Appraiser (Appraisal Services Group) - Irvine, CA-130003062

Description: As a Senior Residential Review Appraiser, your primary job responsibilities will involve the ordering and reviewing of externally prepared residential appraisal reports for the purpose of maintaining quality control, particularly related to technical errors and the reasonableness of value conclusions, and ensuring compliance with professional appraisal standards (USPAP), JPMC appraisal procedures/policies, and all federal (FIRREA) and state appraisal regulations. You will deal with moderate to complex appraisal assignments across the United States. Experience in valuing and/or reviewing a variety of single-family residential property types is required.

Required Skills: Education:
•Must be a State Certified Real Estate Appraiser, SRA designation or equivalent professional appraisal designation is highly preferred.
•Real estate appraisal courses equivalent to those required for the SRA designation.
•College degree is highly preferred or equivalent residential real estate appraisal experience.

Experience:
•Broad background as a residential appraiser with minimum of 5 years experience under adequate supervision preparing residential appraisal reports in compliance with FNMA/USPAP.
•Minimum of 5 years experience reviewing residential appraisal reports.
•Broad experience in preparing and/or reviewing appraisal reports involving the custom luxury residential market is required.

•A thorough knowledge of residential appraisal theory and the application of the standard approaches to value.
