Position Summary
Responsible for successful implementation of new and renewing group business for Moda.  Act as a general resource for implementation questions, configuration, and documentation for small to mid-size group structures, fully insured premiums, agent commission arrangements, Enterprise Benefit Tracker, Employer Online Services setup, new group enrollment and ID card issuance.

Pay Range
$20.88- $26.10 ​​​hourly (depending on experience)

Required Skills, Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
    1. 1+ years of experience in the health insurance industry preferred.
  • Good understanding of health plans. 
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to determine best operational approach to perform group configuration.
  • Knowledge of Facets and business components, especially benefits, premiums, provider networks and membership/enrollment.
  • Good documentation skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal customers.
  • High level of focus and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic with good time management and ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Highly developed organizational, problem solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Ability to function as part of a team.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft office applications, to include Microsoft Visio.
  • Typing proficiency of 35 wpm and 10key proficiency of 135 wpm.
  • Maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.


Primary Functions:

  • Validates data on group applications is complete and accurate.
  • Ensures accurate, quality configuration, and maintenance of the company’s business.
  • Coordinates group and member specific tasks with various internal departments.
  • Establishes group structure, premium rate tables, commission arrangements, eligibility of new group members and ensures the issuance of ID cards.
  • Responsible for group setup in Enterprise Benefit Tracker and Employer Online Services and adds member accumulator dollars in Facets for new groups.
  • Provides support for configuration testing and quality assurance to ensure smooth, stable, and timely implementation of new configurations or updates to Facets.
  • Prepares and delivers reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions & Contact with Others
  • Office environment with extensive close PC and keyboard work, constant sitting, and phone work. Must be able to navigate multiple screens. Work in excess of 37.5 hours per week, including evenings and occasional weekends, to meet business need.
  • Internally with Sales & Service, Membership Accounting, Underwriting, Contracts, Accounting, Pharmacy, Claims and Customer Service.
