Title: Director, Quality Assurance Lender Services

Location: Radnor, PA

This is an advanced level position which works under limited supervision and is responsible for the post funding quality assurance process. The Director is responsible for analyzing and reviewing a variety of real estate loan files, validating the findings, and communicating recommendations for loan disposition to other Lender Services stakeholders. The role is also responsible for tracking and analyzing results of loan investigations to identify potential adverse trends and recommending operating protocols to improve the manufacturing process.

As a dynamic and resourceful professional, we will rely on you to perform the following duties:
  • Develop Post Funding QA standards and ensure compliance with the standards.  Oversees reviews of the subsidiary’s quality in production to ensure accuracy and communicate review results to internal stakeholders with recommendations that improve compliance and loan quality.  Develop trend reporting by product and by referral source. 
  • Collaborate with business unit management to develop and implement applicable policies, procedures, and performance measures to improve  quality of search, exam, and curative protocols or enhance products. Analyzes and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Perform second level review testing of analysts' files to ensure findings are being taken appropriately and consistently among team members. Oversees post funding quality review and communicates results and trends as requested.
  • Interpret legal documents associated with real estate transactions and evaluate for insurability.
  • Promote an appropriate risk-centric culture consistent with the Essent corporate mission. Provide support and guidance to the QA Analyst regarding underwriting and eligibility issues.
  • Conduct intake procedures for claims, subpoenas, and other external requests as received. Monitor and provide updates for active claims throughout the process through resolution. Maintain accurate claims dashboard including best estimates for cost to cure. Answer compliance questions and fulfill documentation requests for business needs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance training materials and content. Aid operations team in curing title issues and directing them on how to address various issues.
  • Manage staff to balance workloads and accomplish results through effective recruitment, selection, training, development, performance management, and recognition.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 5+ years of related experience in compliance risk management, preferably in a multi-state title agency with similar experience.
  • 5+ years' experience conducting Compliance Risk Assessment and Audits.
  • 5+ years related knowledge of the title settlement process and related legal and regulatory requirements required.
  • 5+ years of management experience preferred.
  • Active Bar license preferred.
  • Maintain flexible hours and work location.
