Responsibilities:

• Able to perform code reviews and instruct development team on best practices
• Work with the Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical design
• Oversees the analysis, design, development and maintenance of software solutions
• Oversees the definition and documentation of business and technical design requirements
• Oversees the preparation of design specifications, analysis and recommendations
• Leads development teams in best practice legacy application replatforming
• Ensures technology solutions support the needs of the customer and/or organization
• Ensures architecture is based on best efficiency practices such as Micro Services, etc.
• Ensures best practices are followed for unit testing, application performance tuning and optimization
• Research approaches and coordinate designs with team participants
• Promote best practices for automated tests and continuous integration
• Participate in discovery efforts in determining size and approach of new projects
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers
• Set and review goals and performance of the team
• Inspire growth and guide team members careers

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of managerial experience are required
• At least 3 years of work experience in a software development role are required
• Application cloud migration experience
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science or a closely related field is required
• Must be proficient in agile development, SQL and the .NET framework
• Must be proficient in Cloud application development and replatforming (SaaS, PaaS, etc.)
