Azure Developer Associate / Technical PM

Microsoft Product Safety is looking for an Azure Dev Ops (ADO) Developer Associate with subject matter expertise designing, building, testing, and maintaining cloud applications and services for Product Safety on Microsoft Azure.This is a 6 month contract position, working remotely with & via Teams in Redmond, WA. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Product Safety Team Leads to collect and organize the various group’s requirements, define a development strategy for Azure, identify links to existing reporting platform(s) and security requirements, and execute development, deployment and maintenance of the solution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading role in consolidating requirements into an actionable development framework

- Develop the Azure workspace for Product Safety’s Groups, including security requirements and project templates

- Deploy solutions, including reporting obligations to PowerBI

- Maintenance and training

Education and Experience

- Minimum 2 years professional development experience

- Experience with Microsoft Azure and PowerBI is a must // Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate strongly preferred

- Programming in a language supported by Azure

- Proficiency in Azure SDK, data storage options and requirements

- Experience with data connections from other platforms (i.e. Excel, database(s))

- Understanding of Azure security protocols

- Azure and PowerBI debugging experience

- Excellent Program Management skills, expertise working with people, processes and technologies in a remote setting

• Self-motivated with high level of energy and drive
• Passion for building simple, secure, sustainable and scalable online services
• Experience in developing automated reports that pull from multiple data sources
• BS/BA in Computer Science, math, telecommunications, or equivalent education or experience
