Job Title: Linux Systems Administrator with Security+

Job Description:

Technology Unlimited Group (TUG) seeks self-starting Systems Administrators who will be part of a team of system and software engineering professionals supporting US Navy systems in a structured environment to meet our customer's high expectations. The position will be at the TUG office and/or customer sites in San Diego.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree from accredited university in the area of Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• CompTIA Security+
• CompTIA Linux+ and/or Microsoft Windows Certification
• Experience with computer system administration
• Eligible for Government Security Clearance
• Proficiency in technical writing and oral communications skills
• Ability to work with and communicate with project team members and customers representatives.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

In addition to the required skills, the ideal candidate should have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Experience with system administration in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and greater, and Microsoft Windows 7 and greater.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Experience with installing, hardening, operating and testing systems.
• Experience with Application servers (like JBOSS and Tomcat)
• Experience with UNIX Shell Scripts, PowerShell, Bash, Perl, Java, and SQL for software package development
