This role will be responsible for IT Operations Infrastructure Automation. We are looking for a well-rounded individual who has a breadth of knowledge and experience with designing and managing automation and orchestration solutions using enterprise tools such as Ansible, Puppet, ServiceNow Operations Manager, etc. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would want to be part of developing and maturing the company’s IT Operations Infrastructure Automation initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Regular meetings with IT Teams to evaluate possible areas for improvement in their current processes
• Create automated processes which help with the maintenance of core business services
• Develop/maintain automated Windows OS provisioning solutions
• Work with teams to create scripted/automated solutions for routine tasks
• Develop solutions for management tools such as SCCM to maintain and deploy images, applications, patches and fixes
• Develop solutions for faster problem identification and resolution
• Automate Incident / Service Request resolution for common issues
• Develop automated self-healing solutions that are identified through systems monitoring
• Evaluate and implement automation tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc)
• Build solutions that integrate with ServiceNow, VMWare, Citrix, SolarWinds, etc for end to end automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related sciences
• 3 years of related work experience
• Experience with enterprise automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc
• Experience writing IaC automation and PowerShell scripts
• Experience in a VMWare environment desired
• Experience with Citrix XenDesktop environment desire
• Experience in a Hybrid Cloud environment desired
• Experience with working in Azure, AWS, etc desired
