.Net Developer

This position offers the potential for a qualified candidate to help shape the future, getting in at the early stages of the project(s) and having an opportunity to aid in the design and architecture for each solution. Working with the IT leadership, developers convert business needs into technology solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies.

 This role will work both on new product development with a heavy emphasis in data translations and application integrations. This role may expand into a team lead position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in computer science or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of .NET development, including .NET 4.x. (C#)
• 6+ years’ experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
• Firm understanding and experience of Microsoft architectures, including web services
• Experience with Agile programming preferred
• Experience with XML and JSON
• Experience with git
• Experience with Dev Ops / Team Services / Team Foundation Server
• Proven experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Have experience developing unit, integration, and end-user test scripts
• Firm understanding of coding for performance and scalability
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
