Conexess Group is aiding a Morrisville based client in their search for a Product Owner/Business Analyst. 

 

Work you’ll do

  • Understand and represent the product vision.  Be passionate about it and work with stakeholders to shape the direction.

  • Execute the product road map with an agile development team.

  • Manage and own the product backlog to ensure features are developed strategically.

  • Communicate business and functional requirements to the engineering team.

  • Manage scope to provide iterative deliverable work for stake holders to review.

  • Engage and communicate daily with developers to clarify requirements and answer questions

  • Ensure that the development team is working on the right thing and has enough work to plan each sprint

  • Reviewing work to determine when development work items are done and are ready for stake holder review

  • Anticipate client needs and potential problems

  • Ensure buy-in from stake holders and agreement on requirements and acceptance criteria

  • Inspect and evaluate product progress each iteration to make judgement calls for next steps

 

The position is in Morrisville, NC.

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Accredited education or certifications related to software development

  • Experience writing User Stories

  • Understanding of the full software development life cycle in an AGILE development team

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to integrate oneself into geographically dispersed teams and clients

  • A passion for ownership, planning, tracking, and organizing work

 

Desired:

  • Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, or other work item tracking tool

  • Experience with Web Application User Experience
