We are looking for software engineer that will be part of the Device Engineering Services team. We leverage modern processes and tools to drive digital transformation into our systems. These systems span a wide variety of technologies from Angular, React, C#, Microservices, SQL, NoSQL etc. All deployed and running in Azure. 
As a software engineer in the team, you will be involved in designing, coding, testing, deploying and supporting features that enable our mission critical business partners.  

• You will develop software and services at scale, innovating on the latest technologies while engineering for automated testing (in a TDD environment), Continuous Integration & Deployment as well as instrumenting telemetry that helps us monitor our service and helps diagnose and resolve issues quickly. •
• Develop front-end applications and Azure DevOps Extensions that generate critical business insights to power mission-critical decisions. •
• Deliver platforms and systems that accelerate application building and provide consistent user interactions across a variety of applications. •
• Act as an expert in getting applications and services to production quickly while ensuring code quality and security. Qualifications •
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required •
• 5+ years of experience in developing complex, large scale software in C#, Java or equivalent languages •
• 5+ years of experience in developing front end using at least one of Angular, React or similar newer technologies.

Preferred Qualifications: •

• Excellent computer science fundamentals with strong testing, debugging, and analytical skills. •
• Web Development experience including Angular/React/Node.js/TypeScript/jQuery/ES6/Ajax/Q promise/HTML5/CSS. •
• Experience in developing applications supported in multi browsers, understanding of browser caching, cookies and sessions. •
• Understanding of design patterns like MVC and MVVM. • RESTful API design & implementation and Relational DB technologies including SQL other RDBMS is a plus. •
• Having Azure DevOps Extension development experience is a plus.
• Relevant technical expertise.
• Strong communication skills.
• May need advanced knowledge of programming languages and/or development tools in one area, and moderate level skills in multiple areas.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field, Master's degree may substitute for up to 2 years of related experience, or equivalent work experience/training.

Develop software programs of a complex nature, including operating systems, applications and/or network products which may be for external use. Develop project plans, functional specifications and schedules for these products. Design and perform analysis on complex programs and systems. Assist in determining product requirements and enhancements.
