This Display Quality team in the Consumer Electronics Industry in Redmond provides testing and data to assure high quality displays on all branded devices. Our team is currently looking for a SDET to assist in building the tools and automation used in operating our optical test equipment in a reliable and efficient manner. Additional tasks involve using optical test set-ups, operating instrumentation, troubleshooting displays and test set-ups, and logging, analyzing, and summarizing data. The successful candidate will have good oral and written communication skills, be detail-oriented following test procedures and reporting results, and apply their knowledge and experience to document reliable and repeatable test cases for bugs.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering Technology, Tech, Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology, or related areas
• Experience programming in C# and PowerShell
• Ability to work independently to achieve goal-based results
• Detailed-oriented to assure high quality of test execution
• Experience with bug reporting and tracking
• Experience documenting test procedures
• Good written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience scripting with VB, Python and/or Perl
• Knowledge of LCD/OLED technology
• Experience with Optical Test Equipment (e.g., Colorimeter, Spectrometer)
• Experience with Electrical Test Equipment (e.g., Oscilloscope, Bus Analyzer)
