Career Evolutions is searching for a Functional QA Analyst for a high-tech software company in the Phoenix-metro. Full-time, direct-hire opportunity with compensation up to $65K+ Excellent Benefits.
You will establish QA standards and measures for the IT services within the organization. You will also assist in creating & maintaining all QA documentation such as test cases, defect reports, and status reports. Test alongside development cycle to increase value and detect defects as early as possible to help foster continuous improvements. Plan phases of the testing life cycle for a variety of projects; assist in sprint planning.
You will participate in developing, distributing, and coordinating in-depth end-user reviews for modified and new systems or applications. In addition, communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management. Also, ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, satisfy end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Technology, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
3+ years’ experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of QA standards for testing
3+ years’ experience for major application integration and/or application product release
Strong knowledge of system testing methodologies and QA best practices
Direct hands-on experience with ad hoc query programs, automated testing tools, and reporting software
Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts
Experience in data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities
Proven statistical reporting and analysis knowledge
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple project and/or exposure to project-based work structures
