We’re leading the recruitment efforts on behalf of a prominent cyber analytics and performance monitoring company for an Engineering Manager to lead a team of seasoned engineers to deliver on the product vision and feature priorities for their next gen products.  We’re looking for someone with previous experience leading and developing engineering teams as well as have experience working in a matrixed environment.  We’re also looking for someone who has experience building a product from scratch and seeing it all the way through to release / shipment.  Recent coding experience isn’t required, but you should have very strong technical competency and have a good understanding at the kernel level.

Desired Skills and Experiences:

• Familiarity with computer networking and related concepts
• Experience with HTML/CSS and JavaScript application development a plus
• Understanding of Operating systems and the major subsystems (CPU, file system, memory, networking)
• Delivered customer facing features through design, architecture and development
• Experience with embedded systems development a plus

Requirements:

• BS degree or equivalent in CS or a related Engineering Field
• 3-5 years experience in software engineering management
• Experience in software development life cycle using both agile and waterfall methodology
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
