CLIENT PARTNER PROFILE & VALUE PROPOSITION: LEAPROS has partnered with a national company known for its leading presence in the light industrial staffing space, to secure a Business Development Manager.

POSITION TITLE: Business Development Manager, Leominster, MA

POSITION SUMMARY: We're looking for multiple salespeople across experience levels to find, solicit, and secure new clients for a light industrial staffing company that has been in business for over 20 years. The company has over 100 offices across the US, is rapidly expanding, and enjoys long-tenured employees—most people have worked there for over 10 years.  The Business Development Manager's main goal will be to actively pursue new business opportunities through client relationships across the space, including warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, e-commerce, trucking, and manufacturing.

LEADERSHIP & PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT: There are no direct reports for this role. That will change, based on productivity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively pursuing new business opportunities through existing client relationships (warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, e-commerce, trucking, manufacturing)
  • Manage the day to day relationship between the client and agency
  • Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories and projecting expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

  • Previous experience in the business development arena, or strong desire to learn as an entry level partner
  • Be able to work with all levels of the organization.  
  • Be able to establish strong business relationships and work effectively with project team members and key stakeholders.  
  • College degree strongly preferred.  
  • Other duties as required to meet the needs of the business
