Description

This is a full-time contract/consulting position with Concordis. In addition to the full transparency of knowing the bill rate to the end client, you will receive:

Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and debug software defects in Windows device drivers • Implement changes that extend the capabilities of Windows device drivers • Use kernel debugger to isolate software bugs in Windows drivers (e.g., WinDbg) • Integrate drivers into custom development builds • Manage software in source code control (e.g., Git, VSTF) • Write scripts to automate tasks • Work with test team on replicating software failures and analyzing results

Required Qualifications: • Strong software debugging skills • Strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications: • At least five years of C programming experience • At least two years of driver development experience (preferably for Windows OS) • Experience with Windows driver development (KMDF/UMDF) • PowerShell, C# or .NET experience • Depth of experience writing Windows OS drivers and using WinDbg • Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes or bus analyzer tools

  • 4+ years work related experience.
  • Relevant technical expertise.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • May need advanced knowledge of programming languages and/or development tools in one area, and moderate level skills in multiple areas.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field, Master's degree may substitute for up to 2 years of related experience, or equivalent work experience/training.

Develop software programs of a complex nature, including operating systems, applications and/or network products which may be for external use. Develop project plans, functional specifications and schedules for these products. Design and perform analysis on complex programs and systems. Assist in determining product requirements and enhancements.

Pay Rate: $24.50 - $53.00/hour based on experience and expertise
