Our client is looking for someone with a passion for front-end development and a full stack background to become the next Engineering Manager. Hands-on role where you will be working side-by-side with our Chief Architect to drive the direction of our technology, scale the platform to stay ahead of the needs of our clients, and develop the next set of features.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the UX/Product team to set the development roadmap priorities and timelines.
Drive complete feature release SDLC from scope/prototype/design to implementation/release including planning sprints and scheduling well-defined milestones.
Measures and analyzes existing technical landscape for opportunities to improve including maturing our QA process that will let us scale our development velocity without sacrificing quality.
Develop a plan and implement the migration to our next front-end JavaScript framework.
Recruit new talent and develop, motivate, and retain productive and engaged engineers
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
5+ years of experience in software development emphasizing on full-stack development
5+ years' experience developing web applications in JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, and Node)
3+ years' working with with QA Automation testing
Experience building enterprise SaaS software using microservice architectures
Experience gathering business requirements and formulating technical solutions
Experience working on large UI projects with multiple developers a plus!
Experience working with a start-up organization (PLUS)
