The Treasury Services Sales Officer is responsible for developing and managing deposit relationships and services for businesses.  The Treasury Services Sales Officer’s objectives include identifying and pursuing deposit prospects, preparing and presenting sales proposals, and guiding clients through the sales cycle.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales/Service

  • Focuses on driving business deposit opportunities.
  • Promote business deposit products, treasury services, corporate credit cards, and merchant service solutions.
  • Generate fee income in accordance with assigned goals
  • Conduct customer and prospect calls for the Bank in order to obtain new business.

 

Quality Deposit Portfolio / Production

  • Manage and enhance the growth of a quality deposit portfolio with a focus on business checking accounts.
  • Interview potential customers, prepare pricing proformas, and partner with Treasury Operations team to effectively onboard new business.  
  • Ensure ongoing deposit portfolio quality by maintaining accurate record of pipeline and calling efforts, providing excellent client service, and managing deposit account exception items.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as organizational governance, state and federal filings, regulatory rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • The ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  
  • Expertise in utilizing various software packages and ability to grasp new programs quickly and confidently.
  • Self-starter, people oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks at one time.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS):

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting.
  • At least one year of outside sales and customer service experience in the banking industry.
  • Successful history of relationship building with prospects, clients and colleagues.
