Description

This is a full-time contract/consulting position with Concordis. In addition to the full transparency of knowing the bill rate to the end client, you will receive:

Key Qualifications and Responsibilities: -

  • SMT Soldering (fine pitch soldering, rework & modification) -
  • Read & Understand schematics and data sheets/specifications -
  • Experience with use of Digital Multimeters and Oscilloscopes -
  • Familiar with the use of Data Acquisition (DAQ) applications (setup, operation, troubleshooting) -
  • Experience with generating summary reports/test reports Education and Experience -
  • AA in Electronics minimum, combined with 5 years hands-on experience as an electronics technician -
  • Programming knowledge in MatLab or LabView to control test equipment, or modify existing tests, highly desirable -
  • Experience working in an engineering environment -
  • Experience working with Reliability Test Systems (such as Instron) -
  • Familiarity working with battery tests/test systems (such as Maccor), on both cell and pack level, are a plus -
  • Experience with IR Thermography and thermal measurements using thermocouples are a plus -
  • Use of Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • AA in Electronics or better.

Hardware testing, supporting Hardware development.  Excellent troubleshooting/debug skills.  High speeds scopes and HW test tools experience -Solid testing fundamentals.  Soldering and general tech skills.  Taking directions, running tests and documenting.
