Our client is in full growth mode and they are looking for a talented person to join their development team. The company itself is an award winning, digital marketing firm that specializes in optimized programmatical display advertising including video, banner, search, social and more. This is a direct hire/permanent placement position.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Software Development team in a fast-paced team environment being responsible for the development and implementation of custom solutions for users and clients, as well as for maintaining and supporting existing systems.
Design, code and test moderate to complex object oriented applications, and continually enhance the technical design, architecture and frameworks underlying the current product line and new products.
Design and record technical architecture, ensure technical components are usable, reliable, scalable, extensible, and reusable, and perform appropriate design/code reviews and unit/integration testing.
Requirements:
5+ years Java EE development experience: servlets, web services, JSP, Ant, Maven, Gradle
5+ years Java application server configuration and deployment experience: Tomcat, Glassfish
5+ years database development/administration experience: SQL and NoSQL
Experience with Go programming language
Web and platform application development: HTML, jQuery, JSON, Javascript, CSS, responsive web design
Advanced experience with Designing solutions
Work directly with Kubernetes and Virtualization tools
Willing to refactor or delete your own code when better approaches are learned
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
