Career Evolutions is searching for a Mechanical Engineer for a fast growing Engineering company in Phoenix, AZ. Full-time, Direct-Hire opportunity up to $110K.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible in providing technical guidance and mentoring of design resources in all areas of work related to mechanical engineering. Work directly with Project Managers in providing guidance that meets/exceeds the client’s desires and budget. Work with a Team of engineers to build a designers variety of projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for technical guidance and oversight, code reviews on all work involving mechanical engineering
Technical training and development of staff
Establishing and improving standards, practices, guidelines, and specification for discipline area.
Engineer of Record
Provide real-time advice, decisions, and cost estimates as needed.
Review as-builds, submittals and redlines
Coordinate with all departments involved (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural and etc.)
Technical interface with code officials and contractors
Participate in meetings with Customers, and Owners to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas
Review and interpret engineering specifications
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering field
6+ years’ experience required in Mechanical engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Arizona
Greater understanding of the Mechanical Code and practical applications
Manage multiple projects with proven success providing technical oversight on projects that meet contract specifications
Advanced knowledge in AutoCAD and Revit
Experience with Dry Mechanical Preferred
Manage multiple projects with proven success providing technical oversight on projects that meet contract specifications
Possess advanced knowledge of design standards, principles and practices
Team player with the ability to work well under pressure
Ability to work in a clean room environment
