Career Evolutions is searching for a Head of Sales with an international it consulting company in Atlanta, GA. It’s a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a total compensation up to $200,000 + Excellent Benefits.

If you’re currently working as a Director of Sales or VP of Sales with a passion for technology and management consulting and looking to join an international consulting organization where you will have a direct impact on enterprise sales around the nation then this may be the right opportunity for you.

As the Head of Sales you will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities of the company and managing the sales teams. This is done in close alignment with the group sales leadership as well as sales teams around the world. In addition, the role will act in a supporting manner for opportunities in order to help drive deal execution and closure through coaching, mentoring and support.

 

EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

  • Develop and advance company reputation within the North American marketplace
  • Provide overall strategic sales direction to the business units
  • Lead pursuits and develop business at new and existing clients while managing large engagements at key client accounts
  • Contribute to the development and presentation of client proposals
  • Strengthen strategic partnerships and create and maintain relationships with customers and industry experts
  • Work with business unit teams to develop and execute programs to drive pipeline and close deals
  • Act as evangelist in the business, pro-actively establish and continuously facilitate network
  • Close enterprise-scale deals and strive to be an industry expert
  • Negotiating contracts with senior management
  • Onboard new clients and nurture existing accounts
  • Influence senior decision makers through technical knowledge and sales expertise
  • Setting activity and revenue targets for the organization
  • Identify key areas for improvement in the sales process
  • Spot market opportunities for new customers
  • Attend monthly meetings with other senior members of the business
  • All aspects of recruitment and selection for the sales organization
  • Attend industry events and conferences to generate new business leads
  • Act as a spokesperson for the organization at sales events and conferences
  • Network with others to generate new business for the company
  • Monthly reporting on sales performance against budget and reporting on variances

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor degree is required, Master / MBA preferred
  • Strong relationship building skills internally and externally and able to navigate and effectively manage business successfully in a matrix organization
  • Strong understanding of indirect channel business and working with partners, including a detailed understanding of various complex sales and partner business models
  • Proven record of driving and managing business programs and project management skills
  • Advanced skills and proven experience in sales coaching and mentoring across different parts of the organization and levels
  • Strong planning and organization skills combined with high reliability
  • Strong team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues on all levels of the organization especially in virtual and international teams
  • Likes to work conceptually in a structured, target-oriented way, including the attitude to drive for execution and business impact based on defined concepts
  • Highly motivated, with practical approach to challenges and results oriented in a "can-do" mentality
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills written and verbal
  • High quality-oriented self-starter that requires minimal oversight

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ years of work experience within an international company, preferably in the technology industry
  • 5+ years of software Inside or Field Sales experience with deal closure responsibilities
  • Preferred 2+ years Inside Sales management experience, preferably in the enterprise software space
  • Experience in working in virtual, international teams
  • Experience in facilitating training as well as coaching and mentoring people
  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles
