Intelligent Vehicle Engineer – Systems Engineering

We are seeking experienced systems engineers to help us in the development of advanced driver assist and autonomous vehicle systems including providing system concept definition, system requirements development and analysis, new technology assessments, evaluation of alternative technical solutions, system integration and test. The individual will also support engineering project teams in the preparation of engineering inputs, cost estimates and schedules for proposals. The position will interface with internal and external project teams.

The job responsibilities of the systems engineer are (but not limited to the following):

• Requirements development and analysis for ADAS system
• Use case and scenario development
• System Architecture development
• System engineering rules and parameters development
• Interface standards and specifications development
• Development and implementation of behavior models to support Virtual testing
• Responsible for the production of project documentation
• Assistance with project management, risk management, and system design and trade-off analysis
• System/Subsystem integration/Test planning and execution
• System specification development
• Identify system challenges and risks
• Functional Safety ISO 26262
• Transitioning systems from R&D to product development to production

Desired Requirements:

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with a Requirement Engineering tool
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with a Model-Based Systems Engineering tool
• Knowledge of SysML
• Knowledge and hands-on experiences on IBM Rational Rhapsody and DOORS
• Knowledge of a behavior modeling tool
• Understanding of functional safety ISO26262
• At least 6 years’ experience in systems engineering
• Passion for Systems Engineering
• 4 years degree, Masters (preferred) in Engineering, Systems Engineering preferred

• Must be willing to travel (up to 10%) domestically and internationally as required.
