Talent Orchard LLC, a Women-Owned Workforce Solutions Company has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Senior Cloud Strategist to play a critical role in the build out of a brand new agency within the Department of Defense. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the Cloud Strategy and manage the tactical execution at an incredibly fast paced development track for the new agency.

This is not the type of opportunity that comes along very often!

Talent Orchard is searching for an exceptionally talented Cloud Strategist, with a focus on developing and managing the Cloud deployment strategy to assist a DoD client in standing up a new organization, focused on emerging technology.

Key responsibilities;

Be part of a four-person team to deliver a report on how individual offices within the DoD can get in the right “cloud mindset.” The report is intended to be strategic in focus and limited in scope to users who have decided to modernize and migrate their workloads to a cloud environment. Sections can include but are not limited to:

• Engineering Assessment.
• How to Write a Functional Requirements Document.
• Cloud Approach Architecture and Design.
• Key Common Services Required.
• Assessment and Authorization (A&A).
• Production/Migration of Data. Sustainment.
• Migration to Another Cloud

Prior experience and education:

• 8+ years of cloud systems engineering experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Strong analytic background and skillset.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to operate effectively with minimal guidance.
• Strong communication skills. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
