Talent Orchard LLC, a boutique workforce solutions company, has been engaged by MedBridge to recruit a Director of Product Management to report directly to the Head of Product and manage a team of strong Product Managers. As the Director, Product Management you responsibilities will feature;

  • Working with external customers and stakeholders to understand and map their needs.
  • Developing the product roadmap to align with external customer needs and then partner to build out the solution ecosystem.
  • Partnering with internal customer-facing functions such as sales, marketing, and platform development, to create an effective strategy for delivering upon the roadmap in a manner that delivers ROI and value.
  • Partnering with the engineering teams and oversee a product management team focused upon bringing new products to market in line with the roadmap.

To accomplish these goals it is expected you will;

  • Partner with Head of Product to align the strategic vision to the tactical product group’s priorities. Alignment to be validated through engagement with clients, patients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Leverage market analysis and a data-driven approach to ensure product development issues are resolved consistent with the product roadmap.
  • Work closely with the customer facing departments within the firm to identify market shifts and to prioritize tasks so as meet customer demand, while simultaneously ensuring continued alignment to the company strategic plan.
  • Act as the senior Project Manager across initiatives to oversee correct project management activities are conducted, such as timelines, deliverables and product health metrics.
  • Ensure product development tasks are prioritized and work with leadership to ensure appropriate resource levels are maintain.
  • Remain current in your knowledge of both the direct competitive landscape and parallel markets where opportunity might surface. Elevate market intelligence to leadership as necessary.
  • Live the culture of the firm in terms of collaborative and facilitative leadership, while promoting individual responsibility and team ethos.
  • Build, maintain and constantly strive to improve a team of high performing product managers, dedicated to delivering exceptional solutions to customers at all levels, consistent with the roadmap and company strategic objectives.
  • Understand the Director role is both that of a leader and a hands-on project manager – this is firm where leaders “do” as well as manage. Your example as a Project Manager should inspire and inform those that report to you.

Your background should include the following attributes and experience;

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Product Manager, including leadership of teams.
  • Proven experience and knowledge working as a Product Manager within the healthcare or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with customers and product consumers and translating their insights into action and product.
