Talent Orchard LLC, a Federal Contractor (EDWOSB, 8A) and a workforce solution provider is currently assisting a client in adding a Project Specialist to their team based in Hampton VA. This is in support of a Federal client and the classified nature of the systems being developed necessitates the successful candidate already holds an active Top Secret Clearance.

About the work;

The Project Specialist will assist the contract program manager with administrative, briefing, meeting, and coordination support to Air Combat Command A-10 in acquisition program and operations support of survivable and enduring communications systems. Work areas include monitoring, tracking and reporting on equipment development, acquisition, testing and sustainment of communications equipment throughout the life cycle.

As directed by the PM, assist in developing and attend Program Reviews, CONOPS, Logistic Support Plans, Test Plans, Operating Procedures, technical orders and checklists, and major exercises. Track budgets and Program Reviews, CONOPS, Logistic Support Plans, Test Plans, Operating Procedures, technical orders and checklists, and major exercises.

Your background will include the following;

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in MILSATCOM / RF Transmissions or Nuclear Command Post operations strongly preferred.
• Operational and technical experience in assured and survivable communications programs.
• Strong writing and brief preparation skills.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required and a SCI may be required.
