Career Evolutions is searching for a Cost Accountant for a Manufacturing company in Phoenix, AZ. It's a full-time, direct-hire opportunity paying up to $60,000 + Benefits.

As a Cost Accountant you will identify, measure, analyze, and communicate financial information and reporting to support company operations and future growth. You will partner with Operations to identifying cost saving potentials and process improvements. Work with Inventory Management and support in setting up Bill Of Materials (BOM’s) and production routings (routings).
You will also support the Controller in month-end closing, Payroll, Accounts Receivable (A/P) as well as evaluate, track and report financial goals and outcomes while ensuring data quality and transparency.
Responsibilities:
Cost Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, General Ledger
Financial Reporting and Analysis and recommendations for improvements
Support setting up BOM’s and routings
Support team with timely and accurate monthly closes
Accounts Payable (A/P) and Payroll
Other finance and administrative support as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, MBA / CPA a plus
1-3 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis and Reporting is required
Advanced Excel user and prior ERP / Financial Systems experience preferred
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
Excellent communication, problem-solving, creative and presentation skills
