Career Evolutions is searching for a Controller for a Manufacturing company in Phoenix, AZ. It's a full-time, direct-hire opportunity paying up to $100,000 + Benefits.

You will identify, measure, analyze, and communicate financial information and reporting to support company operations and future growth. You will also serve as a Business Partner to other areas of the operation by identifying cost saving potentials and process improvements to Production. Working with Inventory Management and serving as a Physical Count Lead. And support in setting up Bill Of Materials (BOM’s) and production routings (routings).
Furthermore, you will serve as a trusted and partner within the organization to provide business insight on a strategic and operational basis. Act as business partner to other leaders in the organization to create, evaluate, track and report financial goals and outcomes while ensuring data quality and transparency.
Responsibilities:
Support company growth by ensuring the proper infrastructure and resources are in place
Develop quarterly reporting packages for senior management team
Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts
Oversee the activities related to account payables and receivables
Support team with timely and accurate monthly closes, Fixed Asset Accounting
Other support as needed, i.e. A/R, A/P, Payroll, Taxes
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, MBA / CPA a plus
5+ years of experience, with increasing levels of responsibility in a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Reporting is required
Advanced Excel user and strong ERP / Financial Systems experience
Demonstrated success in producing timely and accurate financial statements and reports
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
Excellent communication, problem-solving, creative and presentation skills
