Summary:

Conexess Group is excited to be aiding a local healthcare client in the search for an IT Business Analyst with a special focus on HR systems. This is long term contract role is an immediate need for our client and they are located in Franklin, TN. This person will be responsible for the definition of business and technical requirements, facilitation of technical design, requirements management, and facilitation of end user testing for IT projects on a project to replace existing HR Systems. Ideal candidates will have extensive HRIS system experience and be very comfortable with IIBA or PMI-BA standards. This job requires at least 2+ years of solid BA experience documenting and managing requirements, leading user acceptance testing, and building cost/benefit analyses.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serves as BA on HR System Replacement Project and/or projects and programs from beginning to end that can be very complex in nature through the integration of requirement definition, requirements management, and end user acceptance testing to meet corporate objectives in conjunction with the enterprise project portfolio.
  2. Works with sponsors and stakeholders to develop project requirements and design.
  3. Creates and facilitates execution of end user acceptance test (UAT) plans.
  4. Maintains effective communication and working relationships with project stakeholders and project team members, communicating status, progress and issues within the team as well as to project sponsors and upper management as needed.
  5. Creates cost/benefit analyses for projects as needed.
  6. Manages the RFP process for technical solutions and implementation using a formal RFP process as needed.
  7. Facilitates documentation and integration of policies and processes for IT projects in relation to hardware, software, facility, or service programs.
  8. Prepares and presents oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations as needed.

 

 

Education/Skills Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a Business Analyst role in a complex business and systems environment
  • Experience working on HR systems implementation projects required (core HR functions, payroll, timekeeping/timesheets, performance, training)
  • Experience with cost/benefit analysis and establishing project requests in PMO
  • Experience with leasing user acceptance testing for HR systems
  • Experience with RFP process and software selection process
  • Experience with technical alternatives and basic knowledge of emerging technologies
  • Knowledge of office administration procedures with the ability to operate most standard office equipment
  • Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external
  • Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames.  Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes
  • Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization
  • English skills sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions
  • Experience working under hard deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills
