Job Title: QA Engineer

Job Summary:

Conexess is excited to be aiding a local client in their search for a software QA engineer with a focus on automation. The main responsibilities for this person will be to develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution. Ideal candidates will possess experience with Selenium and/or cypress.io, as well as the ability to be flexible and work with onshore/offshore resources.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures.
  • Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
  • Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability.
  • Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
  • Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
  • Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
  • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.

Required Skills:

  • This position for CIAM will be for an SDET resource. This person should have a background in both QA as well as automation experience.
  • The correct candidate will need to feel comfortable contributing to a new framework for automation as we are just starting this project.
  • Selenium experience is ideal as we may be utilizing that for this project, but there is another option on the table currently which is Cypress.io (having this experience is a plus).
  • It is an agile testing environment and I am expecting that the proper candidate will be flexible with time due to the offshore team that is also working on the project from Taipei.
  • This expectation is that there will be a balance of when a meeting might occur to include both onshore and offshore teams.
