We are currently looking to expand our team and develop Ardon team members in all areas of core business functions.

We are seeking a Accounting Operations Specialist II who provides analysis of accounts receivable to identify outstanding receivables and provide support for the process to collect the outstanding receivables; provide support for accounts payable; prepare daily and monthly reconciliations.

Position Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent specializing in accounting or finance.
2. 2+ years’ experience in financial field.
3. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
4. Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
5. Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and detail orientation skills.
6. Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communication and diplomacy skills.
7. Ability to work well under pressure with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
8. Effective communication skills with employees and supervisors.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Ability to arrive at work on time on a daily basis.
11. Willingness to work additional hours when necessary.
12. Ability to maintain confidentiality of corporate finance projects and business information.
13. Ability to present a professional business image

Primary Functions: 
01.    Analyze accounts receivable and provide support to the collection process.
02.    Accounts payable processing.
03.    Prepares and processes daily bank deposit for incoming checks.
04.    Balances the cash postings to cash deposits.
05.    Maintains accounting operations department filing system.
06.    Reconcile cash and receivable/payable subledgers.
07.    Actively participates and provides support as needed to leadership
08.    Attends internal and external meetings as needed.
09.    Analyzes current processes to ensure that collection and payment cycles meet both the internal and external needs.
10.    Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be revised from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
11.    Actively participates and provides support as needed to leadership and quality program staff to ensure activities related to the company’s quality management program and quality improvement activities maintain priority focus and are effectively executed. This may include but is not limited to activities that promote objective and systematic measurement, monitoring, and evaluation of services and defined Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs) that may result from such efforts.
12.    Complies with the company’s Human Resources policies, Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and all department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company, employee, and customer information; attending work punctually and regularly; and adhering to good safety practices in all activities.
13.    Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
