Our client, in business for more than 100 years, manufacturer of high-end prootional items in the filed of sport (hockey, football, Olympic Wrestling, Auro racing,....) is currently looking for a MAGENTO EXPERT to fill a premanent & strategic position in their fast growing ecommerce department.
Job Description:
- Build a mobile friendly website
- Implement and deploy requested templates and functionalities into Magento.
- Maintain knowledge of design trends and assist with implementation of design innovations.
- Troubleshoot and fix front/back-end issues.
- Ensure compliance with Web standards and accessibility requirements.
- Utilize responsive design and UI/UX design principles.
Required Skills:
- Expert understanding of Magento's code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components
- Expertise in authoring and extending Magento extensions
- Thorough experience in customizing Magento's front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates
- Magento Certified Developer would be great
- Must have over 5 years of Magento development experience
- Must understand cross-browser compatibility issues
- Optimization of website content and code
- JavaScript and JQuery.
- Knowledge of Web standards and accessibility.
- Experience with GitHub.
- Experience with responsive design techniques.
- Experience custom module implementation within Magento.
- Competent with PHP object-oriented programming & MVC applications
- Competent with MySQL-based database concepts
