As a Project Manager in our Energy Storage Systems team you will work closely with Energy Storage clients and our China headquarters supporting the sales cycle, delivery, construction, and after sales by planning, organizing, scheduling to ensure all that needs to be done gets done, ultimately helping BYD grow US market share of our utilities products.

Responsibilities:

• Support the business by managing project life cycles.
• Develop relationships and network with utilities clients.
• Manage customer expectations during the delivery process and communicate effectively with our factory in China.
• Create and maintain project schedules identifying when tasks will be performed.
• Resolve issues and solve problems throughout the duration of various projects.
• Effectively manage project scope by ensuring changes orders are documented.
• Determine if external consultants or contractors are needed to complete project plans.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams ensuring project milestones are met and client expectations are fulfilled.
• Ensure timely client follow-ups.
• Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Program Management or Business Administration is required. Master's degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project (or similar planning tools) and MS Office is required.
• 1+ years of project management experience relevant to a sales function is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required.
• Experience working in the US power industry.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail while multitasking is important.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively and relate well with others is important.
• This job requires bilingual Mandarin fluency
