One of the largest global Tier 1 suppliers to the Automotive industry is seeking candidates with automotive electronic control unit (ECU) work experience for systems requirements capture, analysis and management.

scope:

• ECU project work is specific to Front Camera modules, Rear View Camera modules, and 360 Surround View Systems
• Role involves generation of electronic requirements and design descriptions: documentation in support of client procedures and engineering design and development activities.
• Responsible for collecting and configuring requirements within PTC and managing change to those requirements.
  •    -   Systems requirements analysis: responsible for structuring the requirements, leading requirement analysis activities with the product team and for developing and maintaining system level requirements created from them. 
  •    -   Requirements decomposition
• Will be part of a small Italian based team working with the Product team (Germany/US).
• Will conduct module bench and vehicle testing of Front Camera features
• Responsible for customer interface including diagnosis of module issues

requirements:

• Automotive ECUs sector experience level:                3-5 years

ECU experience from any systems/modules are applicable Engine Control, Powertrain, Transmission, Brake Control, or other ECU modules

• IT know-how:  Competent in the usage of tools such as PTC for the management of requirements, and MS Office
• System requirements analysis and management      skill level: very good
• ECU feature test and diagnostics capability               skill level: very good
• Automotive ECU design and development                 skill level: very good
• Experience in automotive ECU applications engineering     
• Some travel to Germany required

• ADAS experience is preferred
• Knowledge of automotive sensor fusion is a plus
• Understanding of manual and automated systems testing preferred
• Automotive ECU experience required, ADAS experience preferred

• Native Italian speaker
• Must be English Business fluent. i.e. project language is English
• German knowledge is a plus, not required
