BYD Coach & Bus LLC is seeking talented electrical engineers for Engineering Department with EE background to design and develop electrical vehicle subsystems for prototypes and customized projects. This role will be responsible for design reliability analysis, support integration, testing and troubleshooting of electrical subsystems, and overall system validation and qualification. This is a full-time position is for candidates with great attention to detail and excellent skills. Our manufacturing facility is located in Lancaster, California.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in pilot bus production.
• Solve the pilot bus issue which maybe electrical, body, chassis, interior system issue.
• Perform a hands-on engineering and liaison role between design engineering and customer service department.
• Provide technical support for the testing, debugging and troubleshooting for electrical systems.
• Review and analyze CAN data to ensure that all systems are operating functionally.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• BS Degree in Electrical/Electronic Computer and comparable Engineering or equivalent field.
• Minimum 1+ years of experience with electrical system level design, installation, integration, testing, validation, troubleshooting or related experience.
• Experience with electrical schematic software and familiar with wire harness routing design.
• Self-motivated with strong multi-tasking, organizational, communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• MS Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace and comparable Engineering or equivalent field.
• Experience in automotive or aerospace industries.
• Engineering experience working in the prototyping environment.
• Experience working with technicians, engineers, fabricators, etc.
• Demonstrated aptitude in adopting and mastering new technology and tools
• Able to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Able to travel as needed.
