CONTROLLER or SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Manufacturing Co is a fast-growing manufacturer for commercial refrigeration equipment located at White Oak (Longview), Texas. We are part of a large prosperous private owned organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all finance, accounting operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Protects assets by establishing, enforcing and monitoring internal procedures and controls.
• Manages all finance and accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
• Prepares budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Performs month-end and year-end close processes, prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Prepares Texas and other state Sales Tax Returns/information.
• Ensures quality control over Banking and Cash transactions, Bank Account Reconciliations.
• Prepares annual income tax packages.
• Meets requirements of internal and external auditors for annual audits.
• Generates accounting reports and provide financial analysis for management.
• Maintains ERP software interface for users.
• Other duties maybe assigned.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor degree in accounting, C.P.A. is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with booking keeping and financial reporting.
• Experienced Microsoft Office user.
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
