Data/Information Governance Specialist

Conexess Group is looking for a Data/Information Governance Specialist to join of our growing clients in the Nashville market.  This position will be supporting our clients initiatives around Legal Hold Repository as well as other Governance activities.  This person will interface with multiple departments within the organization, as well as involve a mix of hands on skills with techniques in information management, project management, and consulting.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing and executing projects
• Copying, Tagging,  and Processing data
• Performing Searches
• Quality Control processes to maintain data quality and integrity
• External Consulting with clients and Sales Support
• Documenting and Architecting specific solution for clients
• Communicating status updates with internal teams and external clients
• Working with client confidential information and must exercise independent judgement and decision making abilities
• Access and Diagnose situations and processes, and develop solutions where appropriate
• Interface and Consult with clients on Governance workflows
• Interface and Consult in areas of legal hold management, data deduplication, and EDD workflows.

Qualifications, Skills, and Core Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5-10 years’ experience with Information Technology/Information Governance related services. Prior consulting background required.
• Project Management, Information Mgt/Governance, and other Governance related services
• Communicate effectively both internally and clients
• Architecting and Implementing solutions for client data needs
• Consulting External Clients and Supporting Internal Sales and Support Teams
• EDD’s, Workflows, Quality Control processes
