What You Will Do

Analyzes and recommends hardware specifications for project-unique or modified commercial hardware. Prepares Mean-Time-Between-Failure and Mean-Time-To-Repair analyses. Conducts site surveys; assesses and documents current site network configuration and site-unique requirements. Recommends specifications for hardware acquisitions. Prepares engineering plans and site installation Technical Design Packages. Develops hardware installation schedules based upon set-up, integration, and test timelines. Prepares drawings documenting as-built configurations at each site.

With other types of engineers as well as with non-technical team members. As well with Software Developers.

A Hardware Engineer that analyzes and recommends hardware specifications for project-unique or modified commercial hardware.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

• Experience analyzing complex hardware systems for SIGINT solutions is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or Mathematics.
• Well versed with Cisco routers/switches/etc.
• Linux/Unix sys admin experience
• Familiarity with VMWare
