CLIENT PROFILE: We have partnered with a well-branded, NYSE-listed company with a strong national and international presence in their search for a Senior Strategy Analyst  

 

POSITION TITLE:  Corporate Senior Strategy Analyst 

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Corporate Senior Strategy Analyst work directly in the corporate strategy function and is responsible for a range of projects and initiatives, including growth strategy, new market entry, operations strategy, performance management, human capital, go-to market strategy and competitor analysis. The Senior Analyst will lead corporate strategy related projects or components of project, bringing analytical rigor and business insight to a range of critical business challenges and decisions. This person will be expected to engage directly with key internal stakeholders. The position reports to the VP of Strategy. The candidate for this position will be self-motivated, detail oriented and well organized and should excel in a fast paced, results-oriented, ever changing environment. 
 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Strategically set company’s growth in Southern California and manage the implementation 
  • Collaborate effectively with management in the development and execution of strategy projects. 
  • Research and apply critical thinking to industry trends, competitors and current events to provide relevant business insights. 
  • Perform quantitative analysis, including and organizing large datasets. 
  • Build business cases in support of key decisions and growth opportunities 
  • Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems. 
  • Other duties as required to meet the needs of the business

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in economics, management, finance, or other business-related fields, MBA preferred 
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience at a large consulting firm in a corporate strategy group or a role with high strategic impact 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly 
  • Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent research skills with experience in market and company analysis 
  • Strong analytical approach; structured thinker 
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
