Senior Hydrologist or Senior Project Manager – H&H Department

Desired Candidate will be responsible for performing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and preparing reports documenting drainage studies and results for both public and private sector drainage projects. Candidate may be asked to manage H&H projects and coordinate with local regulating agencies and related disciplines to complete project-related tasks. Candidate must be able to work as part of a team and be willing to provide technical training to others in the department as needed.

Candidate must possess at least a BS degree in Civil Engineering, must be a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas, and should have a minimum of eight (8) continuous years of experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling. Advanced experience using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM and GIS computer software is required; experience performing 2D analyses is desirable (XP SWMM, HEC-RAS 5.0 software). Potential candidates will have project experience performing analyses in accordance with City of Houston, Harris County, and Harris County Flood Control District standards, at a minimum. Candidate must have good written and verbal communication skills.
